Susan joined Good Food Strategies in 2010 as our productivity-enhancing, chaos-quelling, all-around Office Guru, having sharpened her administrative superpowers in a variety of work environments from startups to multinational corporations. At one point, upon leaving the workforce to start a family, Susan also started her own specialty baking company, focusing on organic ingredients; one cake she donated to a Share our Strength auction netted a cool four figures. After devouring The Omnivore’s Dilemma and Eating Animals, Susan became passionate about knowing how our food is produced. She is also an avid supporter of womenforwomen.org, dedicated to helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives. Susan lives with her husband, daughter, dog and cat in Seattle, where she spends her modicum of free time baking and cooking for friends and family, painting, and trying to get her thumb to turn a little greener.
